RHINO Records have re-mastered these four albums from 1980 to 1984, adding bonus tracks, demos and unreleased material.

This is classic Ramones music with the usual opening shout of One-two-three-four by the late Dee Dee Ramone and then straight into the trademark 100mph guitar. End Of The Century was produced by Phil Spector and was the best selling of all the Ramones albums, as the band indulge in their love of 60s music on Chinese Rocks, Rock N Roll Radio and a very different version of Baby I Love You.

Pleasant Dreams saw the band turn to 10CC's Graham Gouldman to produce an album that was more infectious pop rather than punk music, with catchy tracks like We Want The Airwaves and The KKK Took My Baby Away. Subterranean Jungle was harder edged; highlights included Psycho Therapy, later covered by the modern-day punks Green Day.

Too Tough To Die was a return to frenetic, in-your-face punk - which was what the Ramones were all about - as Mama's Boy and Wart Hog took the boys back to where they began in 1976. Four classic CDs from one classic band.
