RUSHDEN and Diamonds arrive at Bootham Crescent tomorrow top of Division Three but still looking for their first away win of the season, writes Dave Stanford.

The Diamonds are also fresh from a giant-killing cup upset on Tuesday night, when they knocked First Division Millwall out of the Worthington Cup on penalties.

But that success will not stop Brian Talbot from ringing the changes as the ex-Arsenal and England schemer looks to transform his side's away fortunes and maintain pole position.

Jamaican international striker Onandi Lowe, who bagged 19 goals last season as the Diamonds reached the Division Three play-off final, will return at the expense of Scott Partridge.

Partridge made his first start of the season against Millwall but Lowe has now recovered from the slight knee problem that ruled him out against the Lions and is expected to come straight back into the fold.

The only other change will come in midfield, where Talbot's hand has been forced by injury.

Impressive young midfielder Gary Mills was withdrawn in the second-half on Tuesday night with a hamstring strain that should rule him out against City.

Paul Burgess will fill the void, playing alongside Harrogate-born Stuart Gray, son of former Leeds ace Eddie.

Full back Marcus Bignot could come back into the reckoning after recovering from a knee ligament injury that has ruled him out since the second game of the season, but will more than likely start on the bench.

Diamonds' former Northern Ireland international defender Barry Hunter will sit out the trip to York as he serves the last of a two-match ban.
