MALTON and Norton Golf Club duo Dyson and Emma Duggleby had bad days in their respective tournaments yesterday.
Dyson, having hit a commendable two-under-par 70 on the opening day of the Linde German Masters, carded a three-over 75 yesterday to miss the cut by three shots.
Ryder Cup vice-captain Ian Woosnam led the way on 132 after rounds of 68 and 64.
Duggleby, meanwhile, carded a last round 83 for a four-round total of 307 (73, 76, 75, 83), which left her well down the pecking order in the British Ladies' Open Amateur strokeplay tournament.
The winner was Welsh Curtis Cup player Becky Brewerton on 291 (74, 72, 72, 73).
Scarborough South Cliffe's Naomi Edwards carded 305 (73, 79, 78, 75), while Ganton's Sarah Garbut ended on 309 (72, 79, 81, 77).
