This picture has been submitted by all-time City great Jack Pinder, who is unable to identify three people and wonders if any Evening Press readers know who they are.

The photograph features a group of City players in their 'civvies' and dates back to the first half of the 1933-34 season.

It is not known where the picture is taken but the photographer was A Wilkes & Son of West Bromwich.

Club historian Dave Batters said City played Walsall in that season in the Northern Section of Division Three, which could be a clue.

Jack, who will celebrate his 90th birthday in December, is not on the photo, despite having made his City debut the season before. He missed most of the 1933-34 campaign due to injury.

Any reader who can help identify the unnamed players in the above photograph should contact Dave Stanford on the Evening Press sportsdesk, telephone 01904 567138 or e-mail dave.stanford@ycp.co.uk
