A DEAL has been struck between York-based Hunters estate agents and international property company GVA Grimley's residential division.
Hunters will now be responsible for selling, advertising and marketing all GVA Residential's property portfolio throughout Yorkshire through network of eight offices - two in York, a newly-opened premises in Leeds and established outlets in Harrogate, Wetherby, Haxby, Acomb, and Easingwold
Keith Hollinrake, director of Hunters, said GVA Residential was a highly-respected international corporation with an excellent reputation for its vast experience within the property industry. The agreement came as his organisation was riding high for ten-year-old Hunters.
"Business across our office network has increased greatly over the last year and this is recognised in our expansion plans which include the creation of at least 30 jobs throughout Yorkshire in the next 12 months and the opening of the new 3,500sq ft office in Leeds city centre," he said.
Edward Rooney, regional head of GVA Residential, said: "By joining forces with Hunters, we can take advantage of an established and wide spanning office network across the region. Hunters also has an excellent reputation for its innovative sales techniques and forward-thinking business strategies, which made it an ideal choice for us."
