FOUR youngsters from North Yorkshire have been selected for their respective Great Britain train-on squads.
Ross Divorty from York, plus Scarborough duo Sam Millward and Billy Parker will join up with the GB U14s' squad, while Scarborough's Sam Hakins will be in the U15s' contingent later this month.
The final GB squads will then be selected in time for junior Tests early next year.
In addition, North Yorkshire Service Area coach Martin Flynn, the former York Wasps number two and Academy coach, has been handed the reins for the GB U15s squad.
He said: "There's a strong North Yorkshire representation in there and it says a lot about the coaches in York.
"We said it would be a success if we got six players from all the age groups into regional camps, and in the end we got those six - the other two being U14s York pair Jack Goodacre and Danny Allan."
