Hello, folks. Evening Press here. It's been the same old story this week I'm afraid. Again I was entered into races but again I was balloted out.

How do they expect me to get better if they don't let me race? I want to break free from the shackles. I don't think they understand how I feel. I don't think anyone understands.

You know, one day I might write a book about how cruel it can be on the bottom rung of the horseracing ladder. In fact, if I ever get to the top, I could have the book serialised. I'd make a packet.

As it is I'm getting to the stage in my career where I need to race. I can't spend all of my life on the sidelines. But wait. There is light at the end of the tunnel. I've just heard I've been entered into three races next week and so there is still hope.

Two of them are at Pontefract on Monday.

The first is a one-mile claimer and the second a one-and-a-half-mile 0-60 handicap. The third race is a one-and-a-half-mile 0-70 three-year-old handicap at Catterick on Tuesday.

Hopefully, I'll run in one and Tim my trainer has told me he's going to enter me in loads more races while the weather stays fine.

Anyway, best go. I've decided I need to let off steam so I'm gonna go to the Dance Party at Monks Cross on Sunday, and I need to buy some disco shoes and a whistle.

Regards,

Evening Press
