ALLAN Galley found a fabulous 150 finish for 18 darts in York Open League division one.

Bay Horse 'A' had Rich Corner (17) and Paul Cooper (20) to back him up in an 8-1 win at Crescent, whose solitary point came from Chris Parlabean-Mal Muncaster.

John Quantock was a 180 scorer but Tap took all the singles against Six Bells. Wendy Smith included 180, Mick Nixon gamed in 18 and John Smith 19.

Tony Raymond shot a marvellous 14 darts but Cygnet, with Tony Noble in form, ran out 6-3 winners.

Meanwhile, Greyhound had Mike Harris (19) and Steve Limbert (180) starring in a clean sheet win at Clifton.

In division two Ebor took a 5-4 win at Hospital Social Club with Graham Hudson-Lynn Platt, and Gary-Karen Richardson took the winner for Huntington against Crescent 'B'.

Mount 'A' came out of a high-scoring match with Reindeer as 5-4 victors, sealed by Stuart Shaw-Trevor Simpson. Mount had Mark Thornton chalking up the tons, as did Colin Mehrtens in reply to salvage the aggregate.

Ken Chappell shone for Woolpack but Leeman also had good performances from Les Scaife, Roger Pirrie and Keith Wright who finished on 100.

Steve Smith-Ian Brown took Huntington 'B' to a 5-4 victory at Bay Horse 'B' in division three, while Mount 'B' team's 6-3 win at Indoor Bowls included influential games from Geoff Holmes and Nick Harteveld.

Paul Tallon served Burton well in a 6-3 victory over Fulford Arms, whose best was Steve Kennedy, while Henry Haystead hit the high shots as Ship beat Post.

Eyebrows were raised in York John Smith's Men's League division two where Dean Walton produced an excellent 18-darter in Blacksmith's 7-2 victory at Green Tree 'A'.

Swan, previously the only team with an intact record, lost the aggregate to a wide-margin Dave Atkin win for Groves. Swan were also 4-3 down but Tony Martin-Mark Delaney squared and Ged McMahon-Barry McLaughlin crept home in the decider.

Steve Forth-Ken Moment thrilled Institute 'A' with the 5-4 winner over Slip 'A', while Alan Potter-Gary Stewart clinched Holgate a critical 5-4 victory over Cygnet 'B' and Saddle squeezed a 6-3 result out of Institute 'B'.

A last-game win by Mark Mason-Mark Jones for Shepherd knocked Green Tree 'B' off the top of division one, but there was a fine 21 darts from Gary Wensley.

Cygnet kept a clean sheet against Flag. Dave Gibbons gamed in 18 and Mark Hartley 19 before closing the match with a 123 finish on bullseye.

Mark Gamble-Garry Strider sealed the decider for Slip 'B' over Osbaldwick, while only Barry Noble (19) registered for Dringhouses. Sun's Tony Cooper threw 19 darts and Chris Thompson 20.

Barry Noble included three tons and 139 to game in 16 darts for Slipper 'B' in a 7-2 York John Smith's Mixed League victory over their 'A' team.

Kevin O'Hara sailed out in a splendid 17 darts for Tap but Cygnet 'A' took the spoils 6-3, while Cygnet 'C' team's 7-2 win against Blacksmith's contained 18 darts from John Miller.

Cue Ball's Pete Leake checked out bullseye for 18 darts in a 6-3 win over Leeman 'B' and Bay Horse had James Carter-Jo Brown clinching the 5-4 result against Lord Collingwood.
