I WANT to protest most strongly at the insensitive Yorkatt and Eric cartoon in your paper recently.
It featured the sort of cruelty and unkindness to cats that we are surely trying to stamp out in this day and age. It was sick humour of the worst kind.
I have always turned to that cartoon for a smile, but there was nothing to smile at seeing two cats being kicked out, and, moreover, with such force that they were pictured up in the air (October 19).
Please do not encourage such cruel behaviour which is only too prevalent in too many homes.
