AN 11-year-old boy was punched in the face and robbed of his mountain bike outside a York supermarket.
The victim was standing outside Kwik Save, in Hull Road, when he was approached by a youth.
The attacker, believed to be about 16, hit the boy in the face before making off on his metallic blue Trek mountain bike in the direction of the university.
He was wearing a dark-coloured padded jacket and jeans.
Anyone who witnessed the attack, which happened at about 3.30pm on Saturday, is asked to contact York Police on 01904 631321.
