THE owners of hundreds of bikes found dumped in York have a chance to be reunited with their cycles this weekend.
Between 300 and 400 bicycles are safely locked up in a store at York police station, waiting to be sent off to auction.
But before they go under the hammer, PC Lee Fickling, is offering people the chance to check if their missing machine is among those held at the station.
He will be on hand from 1pm until 3pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
People who want to check for their bike should call at the front counter of the station, in Fulford Road, between those times.
