THIS is the first part of two books about two 15-year-old twins planning their sweet 16 birthday party, including all the stress and arguments along the way.
At first I found this book hard to understand because it is written in the first person - but switches between two main characters every few pages.
Once you get into it you adjust to it, however, and the writers often put in a sentence to show who is talking at what time, for example: "'Go on Ashley,' I thought to myself".
I enjoyed it and could relate to the story line, being a teenager myself.
Never Been Kissed is a short book, because you never actually get to find out what happens at the party, which means a cliff-hanger of an ending.
You have to read the second book to find out if it will be a disaster or not.
What a clever way to make you spend more money...
