A FUN and imaginative book, exploring the possibilities of the supernatural, when doors at Cricklepit School refuse to be opened and cars are vandalised.
Although a strange illness begins to spread throughout pupils and teachers and shadowy figures are spotted lurking in the corridors, the pupils are more worried about their SATs papers that have mysteriously vanished...
It should appeal to children between nine and 11 who are curious about the supernatural.
The unmistakable style makes for a gripping read that takes you, with the characters, through to the end with pages of the school newspaper in between the intriguing chapters.
It is both funny and fascinating and I can heartily recommend it to anyone who is fond of a rollicking good mystery.
