WHEN is Terry Dolan going to take responsibility for City's poor ratio of goals to chances.
It's all right him bleating after every game that we have failed to convert our chances, but when is he going to take some action. Surely that is what he's paid for.
If the current forwards aren't good enough, which recent statistics would suggest, then why not give some of the other forwards an extended run in the team.
If it's that there aren't any forwards at the club that are capable of scoring, in what is a very poor league, then why doesn't the manager try to get someone in on loan.
The situation may be improved if Dolan thought more deeply about tactics. Reducing the gap between the forwards and the midfield may help.
If the situation doesn't improve soon perhaps he should think about doing the honourable thing, and fall on his sword. More remarkably, maybe John Batchelor could move from a position of offering rhetoric to one of providing action, and deal with the situation via the time honoured tradition of the axe.

...I am writing regarding the situation at Bootham Crescent.
I know that York City FC don't own the land anymore but the club must be able to safeguard its football there until they can move to suitable premises.
I hope City of York Council will take this into consideration.
Chairman John Batchelor has done a lot for York and made it a more vibrant club. Football must be preserved and protected in this great city.
