ROWNTREE Musical Theatre and Malton and Norton Amateur Operatic Society co-host An Evening Of Song at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre, York, on Sunday 3 November.
This is a new venture for Rowntree Musical Theatre (formerly Rowntree Youth Theatre), in a change from the amateur group's usual January show that also gives the Malton and Norton society its first opportunity to perform on a York stage.
The evening forms part of a year of celebration for Rowntree Musical Theatre, whose shows have been directed by Clive Hailstone for nearly 50 years. Meanwhile, the joint concert is a new step for the Malton and Norton visitors too.
The 7.30pm show features familiar faces from both groups singing numbers from the likes of Les Miserables, Starlight Express and Chicago.
