RAIL services in North Yorkshire were hit once more today as conductors at Arriva Trains Northern held another one-day strike.
Travllers were again faced with a timetable board of cancellations and replacement bus services after staff walked out in protest at pay and conditions.
The strike, the longest rail dispute since 1922, also took a new turn with the conductors' union the RMT (Rail, Maritime and Transport Union) rescheduling strike dates following the failure of talks with the company at ACAS.
Staff will also walk out on Saturday, December 21; Monday, December 23; Tuesday, December 24; Tuesday, December 31, and Saturday, February 1, 2003.
