Leeds United have today got official confirmation from UEFA Cup third round opponents Malaga that the first leg will be played in Malaga on Thursday, November 28, with a 10pm kick-off local time (9pm our time).

The Spaniards failed to meet yesterday's deadline for confirming the date and time but Leeds secretary Ian Silvester confirmed the arrangements have now been finalised.

The return leg will be played on Thursday, December 12, kick-off 8pm, which means Leeds' home game against Charlton has now been put back 24 hours to Sunday, December 1 (3pm kick-off).

Chairman Peter Ridsdale has denied putting a time limit on Terry Venables to keep his job.

Said Ridsdale: "I have not set any deadlines. I remain confident that Terry is the right man for the job."

Leeds blew the chance to go top of the Reserve Premier Division as former striker Darren Huckerby hit a hat-trick in Manchester City's 5-0 win at Wakefield.
