THE Easingwold Players' autumn production of Wind In The Willows has drawn on the talents of the local high school.
Adapted for the stage by Yorkshire writer Alan Bennett, Wind In The Willows will be performed by 30 musicians, dancers, young actors and a few experienced players, led by David Goodwin in the role of Toad.
"We've been planning this for well over a year," said director Geoffrey Crass.
"We've rehearsed exceptionally hard throughout the autumn, and the young people in particular will thrill our audiences.
"They deserve as much support as the community can give a spectacular show with something for everyone in the family and a subtle hint for Christmas."
The show, at the Galtres Centre, Easingwold, runs at 7.15pm nightly until Saturday, plus 2pm on Saturday. That matinee is likely to sell out, but returns may be available, and tickets for other performances are on sale at £5 for adults, £3 children, at Alternatives, in Chapel Street, and the Galtres Centre office.
