FLORIST Sue Dodsworth has put a little something extra into her Christmas flower display - a life-sized Santa Claus.
The jolly 6ft 2in character is catching the eye of shoppers in Front Street, Acomb, with its distinct range of dance moves.
Sue, 46, who set up Floral Elegance only last month, said the musical motion-activated Father Christmas was an ideal companion during the dark winter months.
The former travel agent said: "He's going to feel like a member of the family by Christmas."
Santa is taking centre stage in the shop's window and creative Sue is planning four or five different displays in the run-up to December 25.
She added: "We should have him flying across the rooftops at some point."
