PATRIOTIC Evening Press readers believe the Queen should be honoured after Theatre Royal panto performances, according to an Evening Press poll.
Robert Goodwill, Yorkshire's member of the European Parliament, asked the Theatre Royal's panto dame Berwick Kaler to introduce singing of the national anthem at the end of each show to mark the Golden Jubilee, and the star asked for the views of panto fans.
The poll showed 61 per cent of respondents supported his call.
Berwick was in rehearsals today. We hope to have his reaction tomorrow.
