EVENTS at a North Yorkshire heritage attraction have a new face with the appointment of a new officer.
David Edwards has been appointed events and fundraising officer at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal.
He is pictured, left, dressed as a monk in the atmospheric cellarium at Fountains Abbey.
David, who has spent four years working in Western Australia, will be leading birthday events as the National Trust celebrates 20 years ownership of the world heritage site, next year.
He said: "I am really relishing next year. We're making a few changes and have some really big names coming to perform, so we want to make our 20-year anniversary a celebration to remember."
Already booked in for a Music by Moonlight extravaganza are comedians Jasper Carrott and Phil Cool.
