MIKE Tiplady scored all five of his side's goals as Thorpe United Reserves staged a sensational comeback from 4-0 down to win their York FA Junior Cup third round tie away to Dunnington Reserves.

Dunnington got all their goals in the first half-hour, with two from Ben Small and one each from James Calvert and Paul Wormald.

Tiplady latched on to a through ball to launch Thorpe United's fight-back and he netted from the penalty spot before the interval.

In the second half he headed a third goal and completed his nap hand to clinch an amazing victory.

LNER Builders came back from 4-1 down with half an hour remaining to win 7-5 at home to Wilberfoss Reserves. Steve Small and Nicky Rollinson got two each for the Builders, whose other marksmen were Steve Crosby, Jim Wiggins and Graham Wrightson.

Stamford Bridge Reserves came from 2-1 down to win 3-2 at home to Harrogate League side Tockwith Reserves. Chris Allan put Stamford Bridge ahead after 20 minutes but Tockwith were 2-1 up at the interval.

With 20 minutes remaining Tockwith's goalkeeper misjudged a 30-yard shot from Richard Hunter, who equalised. Substitute Richard Williamson headed the winner from a flick-on at the near post with five minutes to go. Bridge's stand-in goalkeeper Mark Midgley played well.

Goals by Carl Stuttard, Jon Hubery and Darren Grayson gave Malton Bacon Factory Reserves a 3-1 win away to RJF Homes Beckett League side Coxwold, whose scorer was Jason Sargent.

Stillington, 4-1 winners at home to Moor Lane, were 3-0 up at half-time with goals from Gavin Howell, John Anderson and Andrew Metcalfe. Andrew Kenyon pulled one back for Moor Lane in the second half before Metcalfe got his second goal.

Two goals by Richard Jennison in the last quarter of the game gave Easingwold Town a 2-0 win at home to South Bank Reserves. He latched on to a through ball to open the scoring midway through the second half. His second goal followed a solo run down the left and then he beat South Bank's 'keeper with a 15-yard shot.

None of the York FA Saturday Senior Cup third round ties scheduled were played because of the wet weather.
