Knaresborough soldier Corporal Gareth Evans played for the British Combined Services basketball team at the NATO Championship held at Mons in Belgium.
The annual competition, which involved ten countries, was won by Latvia, who beat USA 102-96 in the final.
Evans, 21, who joined the RAF in 1999, has also played for the under-23 and senior air force teams in USA and Denmark.
