QUEEN Ethelburga's College equestrian team was victorious at the Inter College Competition at Rodbaston College, Staffordshire.
The team came first in both the dressage and show-jumping and second in the quiz, which gleaned them the overall top prize.
The Queen Ethelburga students, who mainly study for the BHSAI alongside their 'A' levels, were competing against full-time equine students based at further education colleges around the country.
The team was led by Vicky Smith, who represented Scotland earlier this year in the JRN Championship at Weston Park Three-Day Event, while Michelle Pritchard, who took part in the dressage and quiz, worked as a groom for Matt Ryan last summer.
