CONGRATULATIONS to the junior side of New Earswick Primary School on their recent production of Joseph.
It was deeply refreshing to see it performed in its original context. Yes it makes a great theatrical production, but it was written to be performed in schools, as those of us of a certain age will remember!
Well done to you all. It was enthusiastically prepared and performed, a credit to all involved, children and teachers alike. Special thanks to headteacher Miss Farrar for allowing grandparents and parents to watch the dress rehearsal. It was greatly appreciated, particularly by us, parents of year six children, for whom it is our last Christmas production at the school after nine or ten years of visiting and watching.
Lump in the throat time!
