Elvington's erratic Leeper Hare York and District League division two form continued as they went down to a surprise 4-0 defeat at Easingwold.

The home side were four goals up by half-time courtesy of strikes from Lewis Calder, Gary Raper, Mick Raper and Paul Rhodes.

Stamford Bridge, the division leaders, also suffered defeat in their derby game with Barmby Moor.

Stuart Snell struck the first after 25 minutes when his shot went in off a post and five minutes before half-time Mick Barker headed home a Gavin Young corner to make the score 2-0.

Mark Rollinson put LNER Builders into the lead after only four minutes, but they went down 5-2 at Ouseburn.

An own goal levelled the scores and Alistair Ramsay netted from the spot beforte Darren Horsfield (2) and Matt Crowl finished off the Builders despite Tudor Carrington late effort.

Poppleton moved out of the relegation zone with a 5-2 win at Huby.

Simon Hunt (2), Dan Adams, James Barratt and Matt Woodcock were their marksmen. Jonathan Durrant replied for Huby with two goals; one scored from the penalty spot.

Heworth switched their DIVISION THREE game to Sheriff Hutton and were rewarded with a only their second league win of the season in a remarkable 6-0 scoreline.

Mike Pybus (2), Tom Quinn (2), Jamie Allerton and Dean Smallwood scored the goals.

Struggling Rawcliffe Rangers took a first-half lead at Strensall, but eventually went down 3-1.

Mick Pipe managed the equaliser, before Chris Graham then struck two in the last five minutes to win the game for Strensall.

Wheldrake also switched their game to Moor Lane but the move backfired as The Lane won 3-1.

Paul Jones took a penalty which the Wheldrake keeper saved but Jones followed up to score the first goal.

Nick Henshaw equalised before the break but another penalty in the 70th-minute, taken by Simon Gains, restored The Lanes lead and Jones bagged the third.

Norton and Hemingbrough shared six goals with Norton's goals coming from John Dutton, Dean Reedman and Stuart Ellis.
