EVENING PRESS readers might be able to help the owner of this photographer of a Victorian team line-up.
It is known that it is a rugby team from York dated around 1900.
The photograph is owned by Jean Nind, of Fenay Bridge Road, Lepton, near Huddersfield, and features her grandfather, Tom Pratt.
He was a blacksmith with the railways and lived in Bean Street before moving to Darlington because of his job.
Tom Pratt's daughter, Lily, was born on July 4, 1903, and lived at Argyle Street.
The family know he is on the photograph but are not sure which team member he is. It was thought that it is an early RL team but as it shows 15-men and two officials it could be a York-based rugby union side.
If anyone can help please contact Martin Jarred, Sports Editor, Evening Press, 76-86 Walmgate, York, Y01 9YN, or telephone York (01904) 567136.
