SHINING Stars, a new musical show by the Northern Film and Drama School, is staged in York this weekend. Students aged four to 18 from the Wetherby group present two fast-moving performances tomorrow at Joseph Rowntree Theatre.
Alyson Connew, company principal, said: "The students have worked incredibly hard on this production, which will include scenes and music from Cats, Grease and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang."
Tickets for the 2.15pm and 7.15pm shows cost £7.50, children £6, and are available on the door or from York Tourist Information Centre and Wards Butchers, in Tadcaster, or by calling 01937 587490 or 01977 681949.
