YOUNG artists have tiled creations to brighten up rooms used by Multiple Sclerosis patients.
The York College students presented intricate tiled mosaics to the Woodlands Respite Care Centre, off Hull Road, York.
The students, aged between 16 and 19, had been working on the features for the past six months.
Tutor Sarah Sugden said: "They had lots of fun smashing and chiseling the ceramic tiles and have enjoyed the opportunity to be so creative.
"The project also provided them with a sense of satisfaction, in terms of using their creativity to benefit the local community."
Rachel Brayshaw, of the Woodlands Centre, said: "Our guests will benefit greatly from all the hard work the students have put in."
