I AM very sad to hear about Carl Neary's sudden death while playing his favourite sport, rugby (February 10).
He was such a lovely man, always smiling, never a bad word; a big man, with a big heart and smile. We worked together some years ago at the Tang Hall WMC and became good friends.
The world will be a sorrier place without him and his smiles. Carl will be much missed.
