A YOUNG man received 15 stitches to a stab wound in his leg after he was attacked by two men in York.
The victim raised the alarm at Acomb Police Station after he was approached by two men in Foxwood who demanded his wallet.
He suffered a two-inch gash to his right thigh when one of the men lunged at him with a knife when he refused to hand it over at about 10pm yesterday.
One of the attackers is described as white, with short, mousy brown hair who was wearing white trainers, faded blue jeans and a blue track suit top. The other man is of a slimmer build and was wearing black jeans and an Umbro top. Anyone with information is asked to phone York Police on 01904 631321.
