NICK Boaz won a gold medal for York City Baths Club at the Yorkshire Senior/Junior Championships at Leeds International Pool.
He won the junior 50m breaststroke and his team-mate Robert Kinnel clocked a personal best time in the same race to win bronze.
Mandy I'Anson won three bronze medals in the senior age group 50m and 100m freestyle events in lifetime best times and she won the 50m butterfly. She just missed out on a medal in the 100m butterfly.
I'Anson added a further bronze to her tally as a member of the women's freestyle team alongside 50m butterfly finalist Katy Sunderland, Jenny Hoggard and Sarah Benton-Rose, all of them swimming personal best times.
YCBC, who are supported by Yorwaste, completed their medal haul when Lewis Porylo finished third in the men's 100m breastroke. He is with the Yorkshire squad in Cyprus for a warm weather training camp during half-term.
The other York finalists were: Gawain Ng 50m, 100m and 200m breaststroke and 200m individual medley; Sophie Calpin 200m breaststroke; Andrew Withers - 400m IM, Alice Sunderland, Sophie Calpin, Jenny Hoggard, Mandy I' Anson - women's medley team; Andrew Fowler, Gawain Ng, Tom Davies, Andrew Withers - men's Freestyle Team
Other swimmers who swam personal best times were: Andrew Fowler, Jenny Hoggard, Hayley Moffat, Hannah Waterfall, Laura Cuthill, Sarah Benton, Rose Anna Horwell, and Alice Sunderland.
Racing tips
The racing tips in the Selby and Late Final editions of yesterday's Evening Press were inadvertently not amended to coincide with the racecards containing final declarations.
The five new selections which should have been published were: Ascot 1.30 Tagar, Ascot 2.05 Gladtoknowyou, Newcastle 1.55 Tribal Dispute, Newcastle 2.30 Goguenard, Newcastle 4.10 Loblite Leader.
