TABLE-TOPPERS Hartlepool United arrive at Bootham Crescent tonight in the rudest of health - and with another major string to their bow.
United have tasted seven victories and one draw in their last eight outings and now sit pretty at the top of Division Three, some ten points clear of their nearest challengers.
Hartlepool's form is no doubt due in part to a settled side. So far this season they have used just 22 players with only Cambridge United having used less.
However, despite last Saturday's 2-1 triumph over Exeter City manager Mike Newell is expected to make at least one change for tomorrow's televised clash with the Minstermen.
Top scorer Eifion Williams missed the victory over the Grecians through suspension but the 14-goal striker is available again and is expected to return to the starting line-up at the expense of youngster Adam Boyd.
City will be keen to keep a close check on former midfielder Mark Tinkler, who is Pool's second top scorer with ten goals this season.
In light of United's excellent run of form Newell was named manager of the month for January.
The former Everton and Blackburn striker was appointed United chief following Chris Turner's departure to Sheffield Wednesday. just days after City and 'Pool shared a scoreless stalemate at Bootham Crescent.
