RE Julian Cole's TV review (On The Box - Knowing Nelson, March 8), I could not be bothered to watch the programme. There are several questions I would want answered before I took an interest:

1. Why have I never heard or read one word of criticism from Nelson Mandela about Winnie's Necklaces (you know - the burning tyres put round black peoples necks)?

2. Why are we told he spent 27 years in prison when many of those years were spent in a luxury bungalow in the grounds of a hospital and he would have been released after 12 years had he publicly renounced violence?

3. Which "home office" is referred to, as he owns at least four mansions?

4. Where did the R60million come from that South Africans say was the cost of his divorce settlement from Winnie?
