NO ONE appears to know the reason why we have no daffodils from Micklegate Bar to Victoria Bar.
It cannot be the cost. The council has just spent £25,000 putting rising bollards at Victoria Bar. A complete waste of money.
Future generations would get the benefit of a little effort from the council. Perhaps Dave Merrett, council leader and ex-Bishophill resident, could help.
