WYDALE Hall, the York Diocesan Retreat and Conference Centre, near Scarborough, celebrates its golden jubilee this year.
To mark 50 years since the first diocesan retreat was held at the hall in 1953, bookings for the weekends of April 4 to 6 and April 11 to 13 come at a Golden Opportunity rate. The weekends are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are open to individuals, couples and families. They will run from 3pm on Friday until 5pm on Sunday. Full board will be at £50 for an adult and £25 for children aged 16 and under. Cooked breakfast, morning coffee, buffet lunch, afternoon tea and a three-course evening meal are included.
