CUP kings Harrogate Railway will have to do it all again after they were held to a scoreless draw by Sheffield in the Northern Counties East League Cup fourth round.

Railway, who beat Bridlington 4-0 on Monday to lift the President's Cup 7-2 on aggregate, could find no way through a stubborn Sheffield defence, even after the visitors had been reduced to ten men in the second half.

Not even the 30 minutes of extra time could separate the two teams, with the replay now planned for next Thursday.

Boss Paul Marshall said: "It was a bit like after the Lord's Mayor Show. We didn't perform well.

"They were there for the taking and had a lad sent off, but we still couldn't break them down."

Rail, who have played four games in the past six days, now face three more games over the next week in an hectic end of season run in.

There was also a goalless draw and a red card at Belle Vue where Harrogate Town picked up a point from their UniBond League premier division clash against Wakefield and Emley.

Former Wetherby Road midfielder Mark Wilson was shown the red card in the 30th minute after picking up two yellows in quick succession - one for a foul and one for foul and abusive language after his initial booking.

However, despite playing for an hour with the extra man, Town were thwarted in their attempts to hammer out a win.

Colin Hunter and Robbie Whellans went the closest to braking the deadlock for Town.
