I LIVE in Wigginton, having moved from the North West some years ago. At this time of year, I never cease to be amazed by the sight of the residents of the Wigginton duck pond spending much of their time on the ridge tiles of surrounding properties.
Is this a local phenomenon, if not, what is its significance?
