HUNDREDS of people from churches all over York met at St Sampson's Square to take part in York Council of Churches' Good Friday Procession of Witness.
They later joined a huge congregation in York Minster for an ecumenical service at which the speaker was Rosemary Wass, world Methodist women's president.
