WHISTLES greeted the drive-off of Forest of Galtres GC's new lady captain Linda Foxcroft.
But Davena Burn proved to be the star of the day with a nett 67 to win the Spring Trophy ahead of Margaret Hind (72) and Sandra Tock (73). Burn's triumph trimmed her handicap by two shots to 17.
