PLANNERS have given permission for 11 homes to be built in the village of Sherburn, near Malton.
But the scheme, by Deansbury Homes Ltd for Vicarage Farm, Vicarage Lane, ran into opposition from neighbours who feared that some of the properties would be very close to their houses.
The development will provide eight three-bedroomed and four four-bedroomed houses.
