A missing pensioner, who was being sought by police, has been found dead.
Police launched an appeal yesterday to find 81-year-old Stanley Morrells, of Scotton Drive, Knaresborough, who had last been seen in the town at 11.30am that day.
He was found deceased in Smithy Lane, just outside Knaresborough.
There were no suspicious circumstances.
