FORGET Maths, English and Science, a Big Mac and Fries was top of the agenda for two sets of North Yorkshire teachers.
Staff from Easingwold and Tadcaster East Primary Schools swapped their classrooms for McDonald's Drive-Thru booths on Saturday in an effort to raise money for their schools.
The teaching staff worked at the fast food restaurants in Clifton Moor and Tadcaster Road for two hours and raised £1 for every car served. McDonalds guaranteed that at least £150 would be donated to each school.
McDonalds spokeswoman Narinda Singh said: "The Drive-Thru challenge forms part of our ongoing commitment to the communities we serve."
