YORK Barbican Centre's new rule asking users to pay when booking sports facilities is another unfortunate result of a minority of users spoiling things for the majority (May 10).
I cannot blame the Barbican for taking this stand - they have probably lost a great deal of money because of their free-and-easy way of booking.
Is it possible for the Barbican to start a membership card method for regular users who could then simply quote their card number when booking as one does when buying from a store?
