TANG Hall Spartans took maximum points in the Roy Thorpe-sponsored walk over the five-lap (6.7miles) Fulfordgate circuit.
Paul Evernett stole the show on his league debut, clocking 54mins 9secs. Team-mate Barry Watkinson was second. Third spot went to Flyers' Bert Angus.
Seventeen walkers competed in the Groves fixture and once again Spartans' Evernett took the honours with 54-09.
Second went to Fulforgate's Rob Gilroy 55-19, with South Bank's Andy Hepple third in 66-01, and fastest toe and heeler Stuart Wilkinson 52-11.
The fourth race of the season takes place at Haxby tomorrow (7pm). The corresponding fixture last year was won by South Bank's Phil Holdsworth.
