I COULDN'T believe the comments made by John Upex: "I can live without schools or hospitals, I cannot live without our independence", referring to the Conservative party's stance on Europe (Evening Press, May 8). So typical of a Tory to think we don't need schools and hospitals and to have no sense of priority or thought for others.
