THE Bengal Brasserie at Poppleton, York, has been awarded a prestigious Quality Food Online Award for excellence, and has also been nominated as the Quality Food Online Restaurant of the Week.
The Indian restaurant, off York's northern ring road, has been recognised by a top internet restaurant guide, Quality Food Online Limited, for its Bengali cuisine and customer service.
Head chef Mohan Miah is no stranger to winning awards, as last year he was a finalist in the National Curry Chef 2002 competition, and his superb cuisine has earned him many accolades.
