IT seems a shame that the University of York, which has a reputation as one of the finest universities in the UK, has to select Christine Hamilton as the postgraduate to be proud of from all the thousands of students who have studied at York over the past 40 years (June 5). Her only claim to fame seems to be that she is the wife of a discredited Tory MP, and she has a big mouth.
