IN reply to Mr Lyne's letter about young bowlers (June 9), I am 12 years old and have been bowling at Tadcaster Bowling Club for two years and really enjoy playing.
I play in league matches twice a week. Everyone has been friendly and supportive.
Why don't other young people play?
I have tried to get my friends interested but they pick on me for playing an "old person's" sport.
If only they knew. Some of the bowlers I play with are more than 80 years old and fitter than many Premier League footballers!
