A COMMITMENT to equality by a transport giant has been recognised by a national award.
Arriva has been praised by Opportunity Now for the effort it makes in making a positive contribution to the community.
Opportunity Now, part of an organisation called Business In The Community, is a campaign promoting the benefits which women contribute to the workforce.
It aims to push employers to show how they are putting gender on their business agenda.
Arriva received the recognition of the Opportunity Now after a company initiative focusing on recruiting and supporting women at work.
